My name is Alana and I have been involved with ice hockey for more than four decades as a player, coach, and skill development instructor. I love to work with people and help them get better at the thing they enjoy doing. My strengths as an instructor are in recognizing the assets my clients already possess, analyzing their current needs, and implementing effective motivational methods to achieve optimal performance. I have worked with beginners and professionals, meeting each client where they are in their own development process. My task remains the same with every client, to provide the necessary resources and training to develop new skills, while further developing existing skills.
I have truly enjoyed working with athletes and aspiring athletes over the past two decades to help them achieve their sporting goals. In September 2022, I earned my Master of Science in Sport and Performance Psychology in hopes of continuing to help people identify and achieve their goals for many decades to come.
